Who Hope Was
The Heart of Blum
Born on February 18, 1994, Hope grew up in Blum, TX, where her spirit was as vast as the agricultural lands she loved. From showing steers and heifers to raising pigs and goats, she was a fixture in the show ring from third grade through graduation in 2012. Hope was a dedicated student at Hill College, pursuing a future in agriculture at Texas Tech, and served as the light of her family's world—a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose presence was felt by everyone she met.
Why We Exist
When Hope passed away in November 2013, her legacy didn't end; it transformed. Her parents, Jamie and Robyn, founded this legacy to continue the work Hope loved most: helping the next generation find their footing in and out of the show ring. Today, the foundation serves as a living tribute to her kindness, turning grief into action and support for her community.
The Impact Today
Through scholarship programs at the Hill County Fair and direct support for animal projects in both Hill and Johnson Counties, the foundation provides the resources students need to succeed. Every dollar raised ensures that Hope’s memory stays alive through the success of others, keeping her light shining bright across Texas.
